The Harlequin Project
Since 2004, Harlequin has been helping Chester-based musicians, performing arts groups, churches and community organisations to promote their work. Individually-tailored websites have been devised for a diverse client base, and we have also created a number of DVDs to showcase special events and music and theatre productions.

Project ElisegThe Harlequin Project recently released projecteliseg.org for the Department of History and Archaeology at the University of Chester. Project Eliseg is a collaborative archaeological research project investigating one of Britain’s most enigmatic early medieval monuments. The Department of History and Archaeology recently completed the dig in which students and staff were heavily involved. The web site was developed to provide a sustainable information resource through which the University of Chester and other partner institutions could provide information surrounding the dig. The site content was constructed using a Wordpress-based content management system. The Harlequin Project designed the logo and managed all web site design and development. What else we've been up to...
One of our Recent ProjectsChester Communities Together, a non-political umbrella organisation for community groups and tenant and resident associations, was formed in 2009. The group’s marketing and communication strategy centred on the creation of a new website - “a vital means of communication in today’s digital society” (Martyn Delaney, Group Secretary, Chester Communities Together). The site, which was launched in July 2009, seeks to be inclusive by incorporating translation facilities and other downloadable devices to ensure access for all members of the community. It also includes links to social networking sites. A team of University of Chester students on a work-based learning placement were responsible for establishing site requirements and collating content by going out into the relevant areas of Chester and meeting with community group members.
